Job Tasks
- Monitoring and managing incidents through RTTS (Remedy Trouble Ticketing System).
- Investigating fault tickets, performing root cause analysis, and troubleshooting site and network issues.
- Coordinating with field teams and directing them to resolve faults, including join visits when required.
- Assigning and escalating tickets to specialized teams (Front Office / Back Office) based on fault complexity.
- Investigating suspicious or abnormal site activities.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams (Power, Fiber, Transmission, etc.) to accelerate fault resolution.
- Monitoring and following up on PMR (Protection Maintenance Routine) activities to ensure site health.
- Managing CMR (Corrective Maintenance Routine) activities for sites with active fault tickets.
- Ensuring compliance with SLA targets and operational procedures.
- Managing operations for more than 4,000 telecom sites.
- Raising and tracking maintenance activities (MDT, EMDT, DMDT, TCN) and verifying issue resolution post-activity.
- Training and onboarding new NOC engineers and staff.
- Acting as Shift Leader, guiding less experienced NOC engineers and ensuring adherence to operational procedures.
- Leading and coordinating field teams during fault resolution activities.
- Monitoring network performance via ENM (Ericsson Network Manager) and resolving active alarms.
- Tracking new site and project activities using NPTS (Network Project Tracking System).
- Preparing fault dumps and shift reports.
- Demonstrating strong fault management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Handling high-pressure and critical operational situations effectively.
- Performing Team Leader responsibilities during night shifts.
- Ensuring proper handover to the next shift, including documentation of ongoing and unresolved issues.
- Handing over complex and critical cases to the Team Leader at the end of the shift for continued follow-up.
